Batman Begins

Saw Batman Begins last night. What a great flick. It's actually the best film I've seen in theatres since Spider-man 2 was released last year (it's been a very slow year).

I thought the script was really well done, a nice re-invention for the franchise. The characters were strong and acted out well and there really was a sense of purpose to what was going on. The effects, music cues, pacing, it all worked nicely.

I truly can't think of any faults in Batman Begins, it was a great ride from start to finish, and I look forward to the sequel.

Oh, I read in the Metro a while back that Warner Bros. will indeed be doing a sequal, and all the key cast members will be back save for Katie Homles 'cause they're pissed at her for the BS she's got going with Tom Cruise. If this is true, than that couple publicity stunt sort of fucked up for her.
