While writing my review for Gears of War: Jacinto's Remnant, I took a peak at Karen Traviss' site and discovered something that falls in the awesome category: The best military sci-fi author is dropping feet first into the Halo universe. This is the best Halo-related announcement to come my way since the launch of Halo Wars.
Entitled Halo: Evolutions, the book will feature a collection of shorts written by such authors as Karen Traviss, Eric Nylund, and others. Look for it on shelves this November, and look for a full fledged Halo trilogy of novels, written by Greg Bear, to begin releasing in 2010.
