Batman: Arkham Origins Announced
Earlier this week, Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment announced Batman: Arkham Origins, the third game in the Batman: Arkham franchise, and a prequel. Set several years before the events of the previous games, it features a younger Batman during a defining moment of his career.
The game is being developed by a different studio this time around, WB Games Montreal, and will release on Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 3, and Wii U on October 25th, 2013.
A companion game is also being developed by Armature Studio for the 3DS and PlayStation Vita. Entitled Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, the game is a 2.5-D game that will allow players to continue the console version's story. It will also be available on October 25th.
I was blown away by Batman: Arkham Asylum, and I actually plan to pick up Batman: Arkham City soon since I missed out on it.
