Earlier this week, Lionhead Studios and Microsoft Game Studios unveiled the content that we'll be able to find in the Limited Collector's Edition of Fable II:
- a bonus disc with a new behind-the-scenes making of video
- a collectible Hobbe figure
- an Xbox LIVE trial card
- additional in-game content
The Fable II: Limited Collector's Edition will retail for $79.99 (US), $20.00 more than the standard edition.
So let me see if I understand this correctly. For roughly an extra $20.00, we'll be getting a bonus disk with _a_ new behind-the-scenes video, a toy, a free trial Xbox LIVE Gold Membership, and unspecified in-game content, which could be as lame as a rare hat or something.
Craptastic. Unless that "additional in-game content" is something really special, the Fable II: Limited Collector's Edition certainly won't be worth it's extra cost. Very disappointing.
