This past April, Bungie released two additional Multiplayer maps for Halo 2 (Xbox) at the cost of $4.00, and as of yesterday, they're free! Sucks to be those who paid, I guess, and I'll never understand anyone's reasoning for paying for simple Multiplayer maps.
You can download the two new maps, Desolation and Tombstone, for free via the Download Manager found within Halo 2, so long as you have an Xbox Live Gold Membership.
Since I'm presently on a one month Gold Membership, I've taken advantage of this and downloaded these maps not only for my Xbox 360, but also on my Xbox. Never know when I might want to play a System Link game with some chumps... er, I mean, friends.
