Doom: The Boardgame

I find this very amusing. Apparently Doom's a boardgame now, a table top RPG of sorts. There's a market for everything I suppose.

So, if they're making boardgames based on videogames now, does this mean we'll see a Barbie: Super Cuts tabletop RPG soon?

Update: Looks like this company, Fantasy Flight Games, also has another game to tabletop title, Warcraft: The Boardgame, based off of Blizzard Entertainment's Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. I vaguely remember hearing something about this a year or so ago.

There's also a couple of The Lord of the Rings games here and here, based on the books not the films. For some reason The Lord of the Rings seems fitting for this style of game, probably because it's the classic nerdy fantasy tale, but Warcraft and especially Doom just seem wrong somehow.
